Pretty dang neat. If I only had a lathe and a mill I could do something. Plus a lot bigger shop.

STIHL, you don't have to use a lathe. I got one of the Piloted bits from Brownells and drilled from both ends. Then Carefully sawed off extra and used files to get it looking nice. The reaming was super slow and I was careful not to be off there. It turned out great, better shooter than a few of my newer(still old) bolt guns. I am way past happy with the old thing that hung over grand dads bookcase for ever.
