Hmm never had a pigs foot fried. When I was a younger man ever bar around had a gallon jar of pickled pigs feet, pickled eggs or pickled sausages setting right out in plain sight. Honestly after chasing coon for a few hrs a pigs foot and a Lone Star hit the spot. Ok, maybe it was the Lone Stars that followed but I never complained. I still like all of the above, the wife hates any and all of them for obvious reasons..... Now my mind is hung on trying to fix a couple crubeens and I am not Irish but I'm not sure of that anyway. No telling what a Cajun is really made from LOL....

One of my Uncles had a pig farm and there were jars of the pickled pigs feet on a shelf in his house..I would eat a whole jar of them at least every time I visited.

I was in my teens and a teen boy likes food.
My aunt made them and they had some spice and so good.. the ones in the store have been bland.

That sounds much better!
Fresh tuna steak sounds really good.

I have been snagging a couple day a week when i can and been getting Gar and paddlefish.
The catfish yesterday were biting and I took 3 home.

I eat fish a lot.. had it for dinner and will be eating it for lunch today..
Going to my friends house I took him and his dad yesterday and put his dad on a gar he could not bring in.

He had fun almost being pulled into the water.
He could barely raise the rod up on the fish.

I snagged it and seen it's huge tail and I ran up the rip rap and handed his dad the pole.

Told him get some of this.

His dad only ever pond fished.
HA!
