I shot in the Civilian Marksmanship Programs Oklahoma Games last week. The first event was the Small Arms Firing School. The top 10% of shooters get 4 points toward becoming a distinguished rifleman.

I was fortunate enough to win this match and get my first 4 points. I still need to get 26 more.

Nice shooting! What are the details surrounding your rifle? Configuration, barrel length, sites etc.?

Rocky to be LEG match legal it has to look externally like a rifle issued by the US military. M1s, M14s and AR15s are currently accepted. It must have at least a 4 1/2 pound trigger. The match is shot at 200 yards, 300 yards and 600 yards.

At 200 & 300 yards I shoot 75 grain Hornady HPBTs over 24 grains of RL15. At 600 I shoot Nosler 80 grainers over 24 grains of RL15.

Thanks. I shot in 7 matches last week and only shot well in 1. With the M1 and 1903A3 I didn't dry fire enough to get used to the trigger. Consequently I shot poorly in standing in extraordinarly windy conditions. But I had more fun than I have had in years.

These are the rifles I shot in the games.
