Just wanted to share this old photo I found.  It is the Hettinger boys and Dad (and dog Lady)  Dad and Lady are long since gone, but it sure brought back some good memories.  This was in Southern IL, Johnson County, sometime in the 1980's
That's me, the goofing looking one in the green vest.

olyeller, glad you enjoyed the pic. That was my intention to bring back memories. Sorry you didn't get any of yours. Those were the days for sure. I have some other old hunting pics I will try to get posted.

Olyeller, My sister got the larger portion of family pictures when mom passed and others got the rest. My sister had nieces scan all the albums and put them on USB sticks and we all have copies now. Us "others" did get the girls a free dinner out for all their work. Might try the same with your sister. May work for you. But be warned to many old memories at one time can lead to a need for a memory wipe (generally a slow sipping liquid in glass with ice)

OK, here are couple more old photos.  One of my Dad on an Antelope hunt in Arizona with MY brand new Remington 700 he borrowed from me.  Sometime in the 1970's.  The other one is a first day deer hunt at the Dee Walker deer camp in Southern IL, Johnson County, sometime in the 1980's.  I am the young one in the plaid shirt in the middle.

I love old pics. I can spend hours with a family album when it's not even my family...

Glad you guys enjoyed. That was my intention, to share some good memories of mine, with others who have had similar experiences, and hope that my pics bring back their memories.

Seems the older I get the more sentimental I get -- ok maybe that's just mental but close. love looking at the old pics but they do tend to bring up memories that stir feelings pretty well. Hence the need for memory wiping.
