For those who don't have to deal with it, one of the drawbacks of living in South Texas. Normally I don't show allergy symptoms, but yesterday's pollen count was about 20,050 grains/cubic meter. Got a cold as well add in the high pollen counts, and it ain't much fun. Actually not cedar, but ashe juniper. Bumper crop this year, due to way above average rains.

That's no fun. Hope you're doing better soon.

I'm not in Texas so its not just a local problem but it surely bites big ones. My head has been stopped up for weeks it seems. Cedar/Juniper doesn't matter when they are slapping you around. But on the bright side we have been cutting them down at an amazing rate this fall and it is somewhat better this year.

Kinda makes you want to stick your head in a plastic bag and tie if off around your neck.

Another batch blew in today. We were seeing juniper ripe and red with pollen the last few days, and Norther has it completely hazy today with dust and pollen.

Doesn't affect me too much thank Heaven, but does bother Mrs OY somewhat. Others can literally be down.

Batten down the hatches Charley.:groaner:

I'm good now, the cold just made the pollen problem worse. When you can look at the trees and see pollen coming of them like smoke you know the pollen count is high!
