Many thanks, fryboy!:redxfighter: I'll go back to the bench thread now - actually in the morning - and repost the pix. Can you delete the other posts for me, or tell me how to do so? Those coffee cans have been collected through MANY years - the new pix will show ALL of 'em!

you're welcome , ummm about deleting those other threads ... you cant , you can edit them within a certain time frame which i believe has already past ,i'm not sure of exactly what that time frame is ( it's been a long time since i have done so as a standard member ) but i think it's an hour ? i'll look at the thread and delete a few as long as they arent messing up the continuity of it

I once forgot to remove my ram rod in my muzzle loader. Wow did. That kick. I saw it hit the dirt out in front but my buddy said no you hit it dead center. Well the bullet did hit dead center but then I noticed my ram rod was gone. Never hurt the gun just the shoulder. I was really lucky.

All new members are limited to replies only on most of the forum until they have 5 posts. Then an administrator will promote them from probationary member to junior member and they will be able to start posts. It was all explained in the activation email you received when you registered. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Bill

No inconvenience Bill. I've signed up for quite a few forums recently with my new firearm purchase I just stopped reading all the typical welcome emails. Thank you for letting me know!

Ishapore 2A1: mutila--- ah converted by Navy Arms into their "Jungle Carbine #7". It has a 16" barrel with cone shaped recoil magnifier. The Gibbs version is ported, at least.
Basically unmanageable in this configuration. Soon to be reborn in a, hopefully, more usable form. I am documenting this rework project. Should I post it in the Smellies forum or Smithing?

You have to resize the picture to fit for uploading directly to the forum unless you use a photo sharing website to post pictures.

As far as where to post about your project I would think battle rifle section or possibly rifle section.
