Welcome to HandloadersBench.com. Our mission here is to provide a place for those interested in the hobby of Reloading Ammunition. We offer a series of forums where they can ask questions, share answers, and highlight successes & failures so that others can learn. If you join our site please be aware that front porch rules apply. If you wouldn't say it on your front porch with grandma, your pastor and your 12 year old niece present it doesn't belong here. The Golden Rule applies. If you can live within those guidelines, Welcome Aboard!
Spammers, trolls, and flamers will not last long here, your time would be better spent looking for a board where those traits are acceptable. HB Administration
Not a 100% certain but I believe the way it's approached is that the admins and the board founders will watch, read and generaly observe members over an undetermined amout of time to check someone out,
I've been at my given profession a little over 35 years, It's not hard to determine the flake's and bs'ers from the the guys who know there stuff.
Having said that it takes longer to sort out a guy that knows his stuff from a master tech
Here we have lots and lots of handloaders that are very knowledgeable at there craft (know there stuff), but that by itself would not make someone a Master Handloader.
I think knowledge, participation, attitude and some other things go into it
I've been handloading since the early 80's and I know I'm not a Master Handloader
Any of the powers that be chime in at anytime if this needs correction
years ago in days of old ...( gee sounds like a song er summin'.. lolz ) it went strictly on post count , roughly translated any ol posting whore could achieve that status , eg: it meant nothing , a few years back we changed formats as well as tweaked the membership statuses , some are still along the lines of post count and some are at admin's discretion , to further add to the confusion ( :P ) we have members from both era's ( so to speak )
woody ? i think you explained it quite well ,i've been reloading and handloading for more winters than i care to recall and i'm still but a student ( erm learning new things - thankfully not the same things o'er and o'er again :P )
