I found this forum by accident on the internet while trying to get suggestions on a stuck RCBS priming tool. The bench mounted one. Have put thousands of cases through it in the past but just now something stuck so the priming rod is stuck to the bottom of the case. I can't pull it backwards after removing the assembly. Has anyone else experienced this? Nice to have a place to bounce ideas off one another.

I jail from Southern Oregon. I stumbled on this forum while looking for information on a stuck priming tool. Always nice to have those around that know and appreciate shooting sports and reloading. I have reloaded for over 40 years and find there is something new that can go wrong at my bench.

I should proof read more often. I meant to say I hail from So Or. Quite a difference in a missed key stroke. I managed to solve my own problem with the stuck RCBS bench priming tool. I put the part that was exposed in a vise and forcibly applied pressure until the priming rod became unstuck. At this point I realized I didn't have a primer in the head of the rod and had tried to insert the whole rod into the case. When I put everything back together I noticed that the cup holder on top of the priming rod had come loose and wouldn't allow the next primer to load into the primer. I know, a long story for a short problem. But hello anyway. I have a few questions about seating depths but will wait until I have looked through some old post.
