I have to weld it, as that is what the law requires. I certainly don't have equipment to fold 6mm steel plate!
I do have MIG TIG and MMA welders, and will Stick weld the safe. I did the last one I made that way. The hardest bit is the lock work in the door; it's fiddly to get right but again, having done it before I know how to go about it. Needless to say if you take my time into account it's not an economical proposition, but my time is 'free' (to me at least!) so I am saving myself over $700 over buying a commercial safe.
