I've been geocaching for several years on and off. Mostly during nice weather of spring, summer, autumn. I have over 1,100 finds and 3 hides of my own. It is a lot of fun and gets you outside. The coolest thing is when it takes you places you never even knew existed and find historical places within just a couple miles of home. You can do it with a phone that has a GPS built in or the most expensive GPS on the market. If you are really interested, the official geocaching website is http://www.geocaching.com/   A friend of mine got his family into it when the kids would rather play video than go for a hike. Now they love geocaching and he doesn't have the heart to tell them they are hiking
