The Canning Ranch in Capitan New Mexio is once again offering cow elk hunts for 10 disabled hunters. The hunts will take place anytime between late September through late November. The Canning Ranch is a high fence elk ranch located at the base of the Capitan mountain range. The ranch offers beautiful mountain scenery and a great time with your host and guide, Joe Hesseling. The hunters will be placed at ground blinds covering known watering areas and travel routes. Or depending on the disability, the hunters have the option of stalking the elk too. The cost of the hunt is $600.00 which includes your guide. Lodging is $50.00 per night and does not include food. Caping and deboning of the cow elk is $300.00. Packaging and shipping of the meat is done by meat processers in Roswell and pricing varies depending on the total weight. Since this hunt takes place on a private fenced ranch, there are no costs for tags or licenses. Gratuities are not included in the $600.00 price but they are appreciated. The selected hunters must mail a $300.00 deposit immediately upon notification of being picked for the hunt. Once the deposit is recieved, the hunter will then make reservations for the 2-3 hunt with Joe Hessling.   When applying for the hunt, please answer the questions below and forward them to me via e-mail to ctribolet@buckmasters.com The drawing for the hunts will take place on August 1st.   Goood Luck,   Camron Tribolet BADF Disabled Services Hunt Coordinator Indiana Three Rivers Chapter President   Name?
