I have found in working with the 6.5 Grendel that top end loads with Hornady brass which have SR primers can easily enlarge the primer pockets, but if you change the brass to Winchester 7.62x39 with a LR primer the same load does not even flatten the primers. Is it the brass or is it the LR primer, I do not know for sure, but for top load use, I now go to the Winchester brass. It has been an interesting find because the Grendel is a cartridge that goes from round to blown in less than half a grain.
I might try running the Hornady brass on my lathe to convert the pockets to LR just to see if it makes a difference.

Some FTR shooters are getting some extremely high velocities with Juggernaught bullets and Lapua Palma brass (small rifle primers). Pressures must be running very high at the velocities that they are getting. ie over 2900 out of 185 Juggernaughts. 32" bbl. of course.
