Check your blood pressure. Mine gradually edged up from age 19 US Army draftee (110 over 60) to heart attack 195 over 135 at rest. Ask your Doc and don't be bashful.
You could have something getting blocked, like me. A little bit of exercise and bang you are dead. I am very Blessed to still be alive. RCA was at 98%, LAD was at 65% and then restenosis on LAD nearly closed the book on my life. RCA nickname is "silent killer" and LAD is "widow maker". Great they got names, eh?
Believe me, you don't want to become familiar with all these medical terms. And the dietary restrictions are one great big PIA. Did I mention pills you have to take?
Only other hint I can give you is to stay very very calm. Bring your focus to bear on the situation at hand and get to a decent hospital promptly. I don't want to scare you but minutes between attack and hospital get to be kind of important.
My Wife was so dizzy with fear she went right by the ER at 65 MPH. Damn shame to die because your driver doesn't know the correct turn. Your tombstone could prove embarassing
Survey shows I'm decent, a 31.5% chance of death in the next 15 years. BP is reasonable for my age, bit overweight (6'2", 230 lbs.) cholesterol is about 190, but ratio between HDL and LDL isn't what my Doc wants, he started me on a statin family drug.
Father almost died of congestive heart failure at 54, did die from a heart attack at 57. Heavy smoker, wouldn't quit. Grandfather died at 59 from heart attack, again, heavy smoker. At least he had an excuse, very few knew then about the correlation between smoking and heart disease.
