Phil was not a member of the Bench but he was one of mine.

He had Three Air Medals and a Purple Heart. Those of us close to him used to kid him about where he got hit during a 122mm rocket attack on DaNang. He got bracketed by a pair of rockets as he was hauling ass to the nearest bunker. Caught a piece of shrapnel in the ass.

I was in the hotel room with Poacher and crew Saturday night when I received a text from another one of my people that I was not even aware he had my phone number. It was a simple text --- SSgt Fulks has died.

I knew he was in bad shape. Even had to have assistance in walking. I have no idea cause of death at this time.

Rest in Peace Philip because you served your time in hell.

My sincere condolences Mortis.
I will raise a beer to SSGT Philip Fulks tonight.

At the going down of the sun,
and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Lest We Forget.

The Good, they are gone too soon from us.
Blessed rest be unto him.

In Christ's name, amen.
