OK,,, let's be clear on something.......................
I am sure as f*** glad I retired 9 years ago, before this stupid s*** happened.
Down the tubes was bad enough, but that only leads one place, snack dab into the sewer, which is where they landed...................................

The "Time Out Cards" in basic training of the 2000's was bad enough stupidity to have to stomach. Gawd.......................

Now, some Brass Ass with his head up his wazoo and too much time on his hands has issued a list of "offensive words" that will not be used by airmen at Lackland Air Force Base (the basic training center).

An email outlining the ban was sent to Airmen at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas (OMFG,, If I was in BMT today I'd have to dik around with EMAIL?????)
They were advised to study the list and refrain from using the words outlined
'Please be cognizant that such conduct is 100 per cent zero tolerance in or outside of the work climate.

'Let's capitalize on our richly diverse climate, and help others seek assistance if they are struggling with compliance.'

What were the words outlined you ask understandably?

Strangely, none of the "racial epithets" you might expect, like, you know,,, that "N-word", Wop, redneck, fag (which, in England is a cigarette), I dunno, you know, that 'class' of words........
Maybe George Carlin's "7 words you can't say on radio"???????
Oh HELL NO.....................................

The Forbidden 10:

Boy

Girl

You People

Colonial

Blacklist

Blackmail

Blackball

Sounds Greek to me (even if the person you are listening to is GREEK?????)

Blondes have more fun (if they don't, they aren't TRYING!!!!!!)

Too many chiefs, not enough Indians (That's no lie right there.......)

Too many stupid chiefs, not enough indians with a brain, WTF YOU PEOPLE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Maybe they'll blacklist, or even blackball me, no wait, I retired you lousy morons, so G.F.Yourselves, F you very much!!!!!

Stupidest thing I heard all day yesterday..................

Apparently "blackFACE" is OK though, as is "How many polacks does it take toXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"
There will likely be no "blackened" seafood in the chow hall though.

Public Affairs is in full backpedal mode, people have denied the Time Out Cards too,,, nope, I've met people who confirmed them, who were there at the time..........
When Fox News contact the public affairs office at the base, Lackland denied that it had banned a number of words, claiming an individual was merely 'reminding Airmen to be respectful to others.'

'The Air Force has no list of prohibited terms,' a public affairs spokesperson said.

'It was sent out by an individual simply reminding Airmen to be respectful to others.'

Bull-patty. Runny steaming stank-filled bull-patty.

I remember the time out cards, story was leaked locally, if I remember the details correctly. Have to see if the "forbidden 10" is leaked and a story run. Somehow, given today's wussies, I doubt it will be a story.

I was in Bien Hoa (1969) and one evening, it was a nice peaceful evening, the "Incoming" siren started blaring.

Bunches of muffled curses were mentioned, probably only heard by those within 100 or so yards.

But the incoming whistle of those &%#%(*)()%$# rockets did not stop.  The words became 12 and 14 characters long and you could now hear them for about 1/4 mile.

And still the Siren Screamed.

And my Hasidic Friend, who never ever said a bad word, may have mentioned some very hot places at the top of his lungs.

I cannot remember how many inbound 122's we had----over 50 I believe.

I believe this is the day the VNAF ammo dump was hit.

Would suggest those AF limp-***k useless dogship eating brass would spend some time  someplace where life can be gone in an instant.

Then perhaps they would focus their time and energy on something constructive.

Real funny how getting shot at can focus the attention to those things which are important.

I work for a former Air Farce individual.....

It is amazing how often he gets upset by my language.... the same language I used on my old boss, a female, that never batted an eye and often came back with worse.

Oh well.... I'm glad I am retired now, and only working part time... and even that ticks him off..... LOL

Once pointed a .45 at a newly minted General. His ID said one thing his rank said another. He didn't have a copy of his promotion orders, and we were in the midst of a genuine Security Inspection. Well, he got cold and tried to walk back to his warm sedan before I got it all straightened out. He never mentioned that I didn't call him sir while he was walking away, and neither did Top who would have heard what I did say through the phone.
