Found this Forum doing an Internet search and liked what I saw.

Vietnam era Navy Veteran and retired from a Defense Contractor with 43-yeras of service.

Recently joined an Indoor Range, that I visit once a week (carry my oldest G-son once a month).  I'm a Glock fan and prefer the 45acp.

Since 45acp is pricey, I'm considering getting into reloading.  At this point I'm in the thinking and research stage.

Yea!

Looking at the cost of all the equipment I'd need to do hand and long guns, and guess I need to win the Lottery:whiteflag:

Welcome to the board. You won't save money b reloading, but you will be able to shoot more for the same amount.

Welcome to the Bench. Still straddling the fence huh? Keep in mind you don't have to have every reloading tool in a catalog to make good ammo. Whatever you do don't look at the threads that have photos of guys benches and loading rooms.

If I was to do it all over, I would search all these websites and buy used stuff. Welcome to the bench

Thanks for the response and suggestion!

However, I have had nothing but "horror" buying anything used. In fact, based on history, I avoid "used" like the plague!!

Willee, fear not around here. Great group of guys here that have been doing this for eons. Find yourself a good RCBS Rock Chucker, they last forever. Check out Charley's sales on ebay. He is a senior member/moderator/founder here and many, including me, have bought stuff from him. It would be a cheap(er) way to get started and less of an initial investment incase you don't wanna keep doing it. Good luck

Thanks, will keep in mind!

Am looking at the Lee Classic Turret (4-position) Press. With the turret disks, I could load my 45acp dies and not have to remove them to do another caliber (just change disks). Seems a great way to go???????
